Forbidden Planet International (FPI) has a range of associated Companies using various trading names including but not limited to Forbidden Planet, Forbidden Planet Home Shopping (FPHS), Sci-Fi Warehouse, Forbidden Planet Blog or Magazine, Nostalgia & Comics, Worlds Apart, Another World, FPI Graphics, FPI Back Issues, FPI Role Playing Games (RPG) and FPI Magazine. The Forbidden Planet Websites, e-newsletters, Magazine(s) and Catalogue(s) operate independently from the Forbidden Planet Retail Stores.
Products, prices and promotions offered online, in print, other literature, and in the retail stores may be different and mutually exclusive.
On the websites and from other media including, but not limited to, catalogue(s) all orders are taken as a "request to supply". Such requests include the obligation to pay for the goods.

When making a purchase, order acknowledgements are emailed to Customers. The order acknowledgement is not a guarantee to supply, not a contract, and it is not an invoice. Customers should always check their acknowledgement to ensure that their requests have been entered correctly.
You must be 18 years or over to make web, email and/or catalogue purchases. We reserve the right to accept or reject any order for any reason at our absolute discretion.
When you enter your payment card details the payment is `pre-authorised` or 'Pending'. This means that the card details are checked with your card issuer and the money is reserved with your bank. We do NOT take the payment until the goods ready to be sent.
A contract between the Customer and Forbidden Planet International Comics will only come into existence when we charge the customer for the purchase of the product. This will only happen when the product is ready to ship.
The same contractual stipulations apply to Overseas Order requests as to the UK. No Sales Contract is formed until dispatch of goods. Each contract so formed is specific to the items shipped. Other open "requests to supply" will generate separate & individual contracts on the date each is dispatched.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo and Visa Debit. we do not accept Visa Electron. We do not charge you for any item until it is ready to ship.
Please note that we are currently unable to hold non-subscriber payment details for longer than three months. Please keep this in mind when placing your order as any pre-orders that exceed this time frame will have to be cancelled. This is something we are working to change.
Please be aware that often, independent publishers only print a small number of issues to be distributed between sellers. This means we cannot guarantee any issue from a smaller, independent publisher to one-off customers as subscribers order 3 months in advance and therefore receive reserved copies.
This is also the case with certain covers. While we primarily deal in Cover A of a comic, Cover B can be provided as a substitute in the event that Cover A is sold out. Currently we can only display one cover per product and this cover is usually Cover A. Display of this cover does not guarantee sale of that cover.
Please note that if you are a one-off customer and you place an order for comics that have not been released yet, you will have to wait until all items have been released before your order can be shipped.
All orders are dealt with individually by a member of the subscription team. Providing your comics are in stock we aim to process your order within 3 working days. This does not include pre-orders or supplies.
As we share stock with the Glasgow store, items still available to order online may occasionally be sold out. We will do our best to order the item for you but titles are not always available to us. Items often also sell out on pre-order so none will be available to buy online even before the Wednesday release date.
Items can also be allocated by our supplier, giving us a limited amount to sell which can unfortunately lead to item cancellation.
All item release dates are correct at the time of solicitation. These dates are subject to change by the publisher and unfortunately we are not always informed (other than an e-mail indicating delays). We do our very best to keep on top of release dates, however with tens of thousands of products available, we cannot always keep the release date updated. If you need some clarification, please just drop us an e-mail.

Shipping Charges for comics within the UK are as follows:
Comic Supplies = ₤8.00 UK Mail courier
Please note that if your comic order cannot be packed into a box capable to fitting inside a UK Mail Bag-it, we may have to charge ₤8.00 to send your parcel by Courier.
Additionally, large orders with lots of comic supplies may have postage raised to ₤15.00 if multiple parcels need to be shipped.
Shipping Charges for comics to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and Europe can vary.
Due to UK Mail Bag-it express courier restrictions, we are unable to send parcels via this system to the Highlands or Islands within the mainland UK. Items set for delivery to the Highlands will have the shipping raised to ₤8.00 and sent via our regular UK Mail Service.
Please note, due to weight and bulk, orders containing Previews Magazine, Essential/Showcase Trade Paperbacks, Hardcovers and large vinyl figures will be shipped with our courier at a shipping charge of ₤5.50 (within the mainland UK) and ₤8.00 for the Highlands and Islands.
We ship your comics in a specially designed folding cardboard box. Larger orders are shippd in recycled sturdy cardboard boxes.

Please select the shipping option of 'Comic Supplies Courier' at the checkout to receive the correct shipping cost for your order. If this option is not selected we will email to inform you and charge the correct shipping costs. If you do not respond within two weeks, your order will be cancelled.
Furthermore, we do not keep large quantities of supplies in store, they are ordered in from our supplier. This means if you make a large comic supplies order, we will have to order the items in and this can take up to a week.
Comic Supply orders under ₤9.99 can now ship via our Bag-It Express service at a rate of ₤5.50, when the 'Comic Supplies Courier' option is chosen at checkout. PLEASE NOTE this does not apply to orders of Boxes.
We hope to have your order processed within 3 working days provided all items ordered are in stock. Orders that are sent by first class recorded delivery will require a signature on receipt.
The majority of orders exceeding ₤30.00 in total will be sent via courier (within the UK).
Orders sent by courier will only be delivered between the hours of 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Please make sure you provide a delivery address where someone will be present at these times to sign for the parcel.
Once shipped you should expect to receive your order within 3 working days. The courier will only attempt delivery twice, if they are unable to deliver, the parcel will be held at the depot for 5 working days where you can collect at any time within that period.
Customers will receive one free re-delivery attempt. Any others will be charged shipping cost once more.
We will contact you in the event of any parcel being returned to us and re-arrange re-delivery with you.

If you order from the current comics and the comic in question has sold out, we will do our best to locate the comic and fulfil your order. This places the item on Back Order and we will do everything we can to locate a copy of the item for you. If this is unsuccessful and the item is sold out, it will be cancelled from your order.
You can cancel a title in your subscription at any time, but we do ask that customers take the issues that have already been put into their files. All cancellations must be sent by email and include your subscription number and the title and issue numbers you wish to cancel, we will confirm all cancellations by return email.
You can cancel your entire subscription at any time; however, you will be responsible for all comics that are in your file at time of cancellation. These items will be sent in your final delivery. You will receive an email confirming your request to cancel your entire subscription and an email confirming your last shipment.
Any other changes to your subscription, including delivery address or email address changes should be emailed to us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Exchanges/Returns/Cancellations. If there is a problem with any of the items that you have received please contact us immediately, time is of the essence as we only have a very narrow window in which to effect returns or make claims.
Under the Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within fourteen calendar days of the goods being delivered. Under the Regulations the Customer is responsible for all carriage return costs. The cancellation period will expire 14 calendar days after date of delivery. Date of delivery is defined within these Terms & Conditions as three working days after date of dispatch. All Customers are emailed with date of dispatch information.
Notify us by email at email@example.com or call us on 0141 331 2170 to give us details. In all cases we shall give you a returns authorisation number and return instructions. Where applicable, we shall arrange for a courier pickup of the parcel. Smaller items can be returned using Royal Mail. All items must have a Returns Authorisation number, and must be returned within 14 calendar days.
All items must be returned in original packaging with all seals intact and in re-saleable condition.
